– Quote from the book
Thomas “Sol” Sunhede and Martin Lindell are perhaps the most well known and published authors about video games in Sweden. Many books later they finally decided to team up in order to make a complete book covering all things video game development in Sweden from the very beginning and onwards.
This book, Svensk Videospelsutveckling, is an information behemoth spanning from 1843 to the 1990s. It contains many fantastic and interesting stories and facts and will from now on definitely be the definite reference authority for all future research on the subject.
Eventually they ended up with six full pages about myself. With the book clocking in at over five hundred pages in total that makes me 1% of Swedish gaming history, or something. I am also referenced and mentioned elsewhere in the book. With two books in print released this year featuring two of my previous careers in computer audio and music, it feels like that part of my life has been turned into documented history. The end of an era for me personally.
For this, I am so very thankful. Pretty damn good timing, too.
